Job summary

Madix Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician/Automation Specialist to support manufacturing operations with HMI/PLC programming, equipment installation, and system troubleshooting.

Role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience; familiarity with Allen-Bradley/Siemens PLCs, AutoCAD, and engineering protocols; strong collaboration and safety focus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, or related field.
5+ years as industrial maintenance technician or related role; robotics/lasers/metal fabrication training considered.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, diagrams, and manuals.
Strong PLC programming background with Allen-Bradley/Siemens and ladder logic.
Familiarity with AutoCAD for drawings and basic robotics exposure.

Responsibilities

Design, program, and troubleshoot HMIs for user-friendly operation.
Develop, modify, and optimize PLC ladder logic and control programs.
Install and integrate sensors, robotics, and automated systems.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical/mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, and assemblies.
Document actions, changes, and system configurations clearly.
Collaborate across Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams.
Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance in all tasks.
