Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or demonstrated capability as an Automation Technician for 5 years.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, program, install, modify, and repair electrical control systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Generate electrical schematics and documentation for installation and troubleshooting of control systems.
  • Perform PLC/HMI/Automation Controller programming with focus on reliability and maintainable troubleshooting docs.
  • Define scope documents for new and existing equipment from external providers.
  • Establish product acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations supporting design, including electrical requirements.
  • Work with SCADA and MES vendors and IT to develop and maintain data acquisition and management solutions for plant ops.
  • Collaborate with equipment, process, maintenance, and operations teams to improve machine reliability, product quality and process yield.
