Job summary

Madix, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform inspections, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facilities. You will troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, read schematics, and replace components as needed.

The role requires five years of maintenance experience, a High School Diploma, and a valid driver's license. You will document work, support installation of equipment, and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced plant

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• Minimum five years mechanical maintenance experience or equivalent
• Ability to work long hours and weekends
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, manuals and parts catalogs
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment; cleans, lubricates, and replaces parts as directed.
• Diagnoses and repairs equipment; tests systems and adjusts controls.
• Reads gauges and diagnostics to identify malfunctions and determines corrective action.
• Maintains detailed records of work performed and completes daily work orders.
• Assists with installation of new equipment and renovations.
• Mentors and guides lower level maintenance staff as needed.
