Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Senior Product Specialist to drive autoimmune and IFA testing adoption across the US. The role focuses on testing algorithms, assay performance, and competitive workflow, collaborating with Sales, Marketing and Clinical teams to deliver compelling content and strategies to laboratorians and executives.

Ideal candidates have strong laboratory diagnostics experience, ability to travel 70-80% within the territory, and a proven track record in strategic account

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree required.
• Minimum 3-5+ years of experience meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing complex sales cycles.
• Business acumen with ability to develop and execute strategic territory plan.
• Strong presentation and consultative selling skills at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities.
• Ability to travel 70-80% within assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Fluency in English required; additional language skills as needed for specific positions.
• Ability to mentor team members and coordinate cross-functional resources.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check including drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Present and position complex autoimmune and IFA content and solutions for senior executives and laboratory professionals.
• Articulate autoimmune testing cascades and utilization per guidelines and optimize workflow.
• Identify and develop relationships with clinical and laboratory thought leaders regionally.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to present and drive assay adoption.
• Support advisory boards and strategic committees with diagnostic testing insights.
• Travel across the territory to engage customers and support sales growth.
