Job summary

Lumen is seeking an AutoCAD drafter to support planning and engineering teams with 2D & 3D drafting, floor and site plans, and AS-built record drawings. Responsibilities include maintaining a Drawings Library in SharePoint and ensuring accuracy across projects.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, collaboration with engineers, and delivering drawings that underpin our AI-ready connectivity infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
• 3+ years of AutoCAD experience (v2020 or newer).
• AutoCAD proficiency with attention to detail and timely delivery.
• Preferred: telecommunication or data center design, architectural or electrical/AC 1-line design, building systems knowledge, GIS/mapping or civil design, AutoCAD Map 3D, .NET or AutoLISP.

Responsibilities

• Create initial designs for new projects with engineers.
• Produce floor plans, site plans, and AC 1-line drawings.
• Maintain drawings library and SharePoint workflows.
• Add as-built information and ensure accurate record drawings.
• Create and modify 2D and 3D blocks; generate PDFs.
• Provide AutoCAD SME support to planners and engineers.
