Job summary

Lumen seeks a detail‑oriented AutoCAD drafter to support engineering planning with 2D/3D drafting for floor plans, site plans, and AC 1‑line drawings. You will maintain the drawings library in SharePoint and assist engineers with initial designs for new projects.

Remote/work‑from‑home in the USA is expected; 8am–5pm local time, with possible schedule flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3+ years AutoCAD experience.
• AutoCAD proficiency with detail orientation and efficient turnaround.
• Preferred telecom, data center, architectural or electrical design experience.
• GIS/Mapping or Civil design experience.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Map 3D; .Net or AutoLISP programming beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to create initial designs for new projects.
• Develop floor plans and site plans with additions or removals of equipment.
• Research property lines using GIS data, latitude/longitude, and imagery.
• Create and modify 2D/3D blocks and dynamic blocks for drawings.
• Maintain Drawings Library on SharePoint and manage workflow.
