Job summary

Lumen Technologies, Inc. is seeking an AutoCAD specialist to support engineering planning for telecom and data center projects. You will draft floor and site plans in 2D/3D, and maintain the drawings library using SharePoint. Collaboration with engineers and vendors to add as-built data is essential.

The role requires 3+ years of AutoCAD experience (v2020+), strong detail orientation, and the ability to work remotely in the USA with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
• 3+ years of AutoCAD experience with v2020 or newer.
• AutoCAD proficiency with attention to detail and turnaround.
• Preferred telecom, data center, architectural, electrical, or ME/EE familiarity.
• GIS/Mapping, Civil design, AutoCAD Map 3D helpful.
• Net or AutoLISP programming for AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers to create initial designs for new projects.
• Develop floor plans showing equipment changes or new construction.
• Create and modify 2D and 3D blocks and dynamic blocks.
• Produce PDFs of designs and updates on design progress.
• Manage drawing workflow on SharePoint and track progress.
• Serve as SME for AutoCAD to assist planners and engineers.
• Research missing information and locate property lines as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers or vendors to add as‑built information.
