Jefferson County seeks an Auto Title Technician Senior to mentor staff and process motor vehicle titling and registrations across multiple branches. The role includes handling taxes, notarizing documents, and assisting the public with complex title and tax questions.

Must be comfortable working in a busy public-facing environment. Ideal candidates have Spanish language skills and 3+ years in auto titling with DRIVES; willingness to support leadership duties during absences is a plus.

Qualifications

• Spanish or other foreign language skills valued.
• High school diploma or equivalent certificate required.
• 3 years of auto titling/registration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor technicians and assist with supervisory tasks when needed.
• Process motor vehicle titling, registration, ownership taxes, license fees and sales taxes.
• Assist public with inquiries and resolve complex tax/title/registration issues.
• Notarize documents and maintain office inventory.
