Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while guiding a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction. This role pays a range of $20.60–$31.55 per hour with flat-rate compensation, and offers ongoing paid training.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment.
