Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while leading a team toward improved customer care. This role features a flat-rate pay model with competitive regional rates and a strong emphasis on professional growth.

The position offers a pay range of $18.54–$31.15 per hour, plus benefits such as medical, vacation, ASE training and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license at all times.
• Proven skill in brakes and hydraulics, or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical systems.
• Inspect suspension, alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/ mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within first two years of employment (Tests and registrations fees are paid for by company pass or fail. Technicians receive bonus for each test passed)
