Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering, suspension and electrical systems.
• Ability to explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical customers.
• Willing to pursue ASE certifications with company support within two years.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across braking, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, suspension and electrical systems.
• Adeptly explain diagnoses and required repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Aim to obtain ASE certifications (A.S.E. A1–A8) within two years; tests fees are covered by the company; bonuses apply for tests passed.
