Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while mentoring a team in delivering outstanding customer care. The role offers a performance-based flat-rate pay model and opportunities for ASE certification.

Training, benefits, and a strong safety culture are emphasized. The position includes hands-on diagnostics, leadership duties, and ongoing education to stay current with evolving automotive technology in a busy retail

Qualifications

• ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within two years are required or subsidized by the company.
• Brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension & alignments are essential.
• Strong ability to diagnose and repair diverse automotive systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition (primary and/or advanced), electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Keep up to date with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Aim to obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three areas within two years; tests and fees may be covered by the company.
