Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a team toward high customer satisfaction. The role uses a flat-rate pay model, rewarding efficiency and quality.

You will train others and pursue ASE certifications within two years. The position emphasizes safety, ongoing training, and adherence to fair compensation practices.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Brakes & hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments experience.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair skills.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Aim to obtain/maintain ASE certifications within first two years (fees paid by the company).
