Swickard Auto Group is seeking an experienced automotive technician for Gresham Toyota in Gresham, OR. This full‑time, on‑site role offers a competitive flat-rate pay range and paid factory training, with opportunities to advance into senior technician and leadership tracks.

You bring 3+ years of mechanical experience, dealership or equivalent shop discipline, and a solid diagnostic foundation. Toyota/Japanese brand experience plus Techstream familiarity are a strong plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive technician experience required.
• Dealership experience strongly preferred, or equivalent shop discipline with documentation.
• Toyota/Japanese brand experience a strong plus; Techstream familiarity valued.
• ASE certification is preferred; candidates actively pursuing certification encouraged.
• Strong diagnostic skills with a track record of first-time fixes.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Toyota vehicles across systems per OEM procedures.
• Perform multi-point inspections and develop accurate repair plans for service advisers.
• Execute repairs to Toyota OEM specs with speed and quality.
• ,
• Document all findings and work on repair orders.
• Stay current on Toyota service bulletins and software updates.
• Conduct test drives to validate diagnostics and repair quality.
