Job summary

Gresham Toyota in Portland's east side is seeking a Detail Technician for a fast-paced, flat-rate role. You will thoroughly detail vehicles, preparing them for guest handoff and ensuring presentation quality. No prior detailing experience is required as training is provided on our process and products.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of detailing experience preferred; candidates with comparable vehicle care backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Comfortable being on your feet and using your hands throughout the shift.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated; flat-rate detailing rewards efficiency without micromanagement.
• Reliable and punctual; the detail bay is a critical part of daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough interior and exterior detail work on vehicles to a guest-ready standard.
• Prepare new vehicle deliveries to be spotless and presentation-ready.
• Recondition pre-owned and trade-in vehicles to frontline-ready condition.
• Perform post-service vehicle cleaning as directed.
• Move vehicles safely between the detail bay, service lane, and lot.
• Document completed work and flag any damage discovered during detailing.
