Job summary

Progressive is seeking a senior claims specialist to investigate complex and high-risk injury claims, coordinating with police, healthcare professionals, claimants, and others involved to determine coverage, liability, and the overall value of each claim.

This is a hybrid role with in-office meetings about four days per month; remote work is allowed with optional in-office days. You must live within 40 miles of the Anchorage, AK or Honolulu, HI office to apply.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling OR
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree OR
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims.
• Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others involved in the accident.
• Determine coverage, liability and the total value of the claim.
• Collaborate with team during hybrid work arrangements.
