Job summary

Progressive in Honolulu, HI is seeking a senior claims specialist to investigate complex injury claims, determine coverage and liability, and assess the total value of the claim. You will work with police officers, medical professionals, claimants, and other involved parties to reach equitable resolutions.

The role is hybrid, requiring about four days per month in the office for meetings and training; accommodations for additional in-office work are available if preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling OR
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree OR
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims.
• Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others involved in the accident.
• Determine coverage, liability and the total value of the claim.
