Job summary

AlphaStaffHCM is seeking an Injury Adjuster to support non-attorney involved soft tissue bodily injury claims. You will confirm coverage, determine liability, investigate losses, evaluate damages, negotiate settlements, and adjudicate claims in line with state laws.

This hybrid role requires in-office presence 3 days per week and may be based in Phoenix, Chesapeake, or Tampa with standard 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. local office hours. Training and relocation not provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of injury adjusting or auto liability adjusting experience.
• Knowledge of auto claims contracts, coverage evaluation, investigation, negotiation, and adjudication.
• Familiarity with applicable case law and state insurance laws.
• Ability to acquire and maintain required adjuster licenses within 90 days.
• Currently in a Senior Auto Adjuster / Complex role.
• Experience handling total loss claims.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Adjust non-attorney involved soft tissue body injury claims, including auto exposures.
• Identify and confirm coverage; determine liability and adjudicate claims.
• Investigate losses, negotiate settlements, and document activity clearly.
• Provide guidance to members on steps, timelines, and expectations.
• Collaborate with teams, vendors, and partners to resolve issues.
• Support CAT response and be on-call as needed; remote/hybrid duties.
