Job summary
Safelite is seeking Auto Glass Technicians at Technician, Senior Technician, or Master Technician levels. The role involves repairing and replacing vehicle glass at Safelite Shop or Mobile Shop, with emphasis on safety, quality, and outstanding customer service.
Senior/Master roles include mentoring and technical leadership. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and 2+ years of auto glass experience.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license required to operate a company vehicle.
- Proven Auto Glass Technician experience (2+ years preferred).
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle glass repair and replacement with focus on safety and quality.
- Recalibrate automotive safety systems and complete diagnostic testing.
- Operate Safelite tools and technologies; maintain technician equipment.
- Engage customers in person, by text, and by phone; promote Safelite services.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to junior technicians when applicable.
- Adhere to policies and standards; perform other duties as assigned.
