Job summary

Safelite is seeking Auto Glass Technicians at Technician, Senior Technician, or Master Technician levels to perform repair, replacement, and recalibration across Safelite Shop or Mobile Glass Shop locations. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and outstanding customer service, with opportunities for mentoring and leadership as you advance.

Qualifications

2+ years experience as an Auto Glass Technician is preferred.
Valid Driver's License required to operate company vehicles.
High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide all vehicle glass repair and replacement services at a Safelite Shop or Mobile Glass Shop in the most efficient manner, focusing on safety, quality and exceptional customer service.
Recalibrating automotive safety systems, including trouble-shooting and completing diagnostic testing.
Proficiently operate Safelite’s tools and technologies, including: True Seal®, Ezi‑Wire™, Glass Table System (GTS), chemicals (as required by the Safelite Way of Fitting, work order and customer administration systems, and Safelite's handheld Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology.
Safely operate company and customer vehicles throughout the workday.
Communicate with all scheduled customers in-person, via text, and on the phone; present, promote and sell Safelite promotional items and services to customers.
Senior and Master Technician levels will serve as a technical resource, support technician development, share best practices, and assist with coaching and mentoring activities.
