Job summary

Preferred Risk Insurance Services in Chicago, IL, seeks an experienced Senior Regulatory Compliance Analyst to strengthen our P&C compliance program with a focus on non-standard personal and commercial auto and general liability insurance.

You will monitor federal and state regulations, lead focused department reviews, assist with regulatory filings and market conduct examinations, and partner with business areas to review compliance risks and requirements across the organization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in insurance regulatory compliance.
• Substantial working knowledge of personal and commercial auto insurance regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with high professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Monitor changes in state and federal P&C insurance regulations and translate requirements for business teams.
• Track proposed bills and enforcement trends impacting underwriting, policy forms, and claims handling.
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Act as a trusted compliance advisor across the organization to promote regulatory awareness and audit findings.
• Develop and update guidelines to ensure alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform Focused Department Reviews and document findings, recommendations, and remediation actions.
• Assist with maintaining compliance calendars and regulatory documentation.
• Participate in organization-wide projects related to product or process changes.
• Support training on regulatory requirements and attend webinars to expand knowledge.
• Mentor other Regulatory Compliance Analysts and take on additional duties as needed.
