Job summary

Rivian seeks an Advanced Cosmetic Enhancement Specialist to deliver high-standard automotive detailing in a mobile environment. You will work with a dynamic team, ensuring top-quality results while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include thorough cleaning, surface treatments, paint protection, and documenting work orders. Flexibility for nights and weekends is required, with travel about 25% for support as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of prior detailing or car wash experience (recommended).
• 21+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent recommended but not required.
• Certifications or Authorized Installers recommended but not required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow Rivian's safety, cleanliness, and organization standards in all work areas.
• Perform post-service detailing inspections for quality control.
• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors per SOPs using chemicals and products.
• Use cleaners, claybars, and compounds to remove contaminants and protect surfaces.
• Apply waxes, sealants, and ceramic coatings as needed.
• Install paint protection film and perform color/wet sanding if required.
• Document, close, and manage work orders in Rivian's system.
• Communicate with customers and cross-functional teams to meet expectations.
• Track services, monitor vehicle battery levels, and manage supplies.
• Move, park and deliver vehicles as needed.
