Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Advanced Cosmetic Enhancement Specialist to deliver high-quality automotive detailing with technical precision and creative flair. The role demands energy, initiative, judgment, and cross-team collaboration to meet tight timelines.

You will execute interior and exterior detailing, apply protective coatings, and maintain safety and cleanliness in a mobile setting. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and travel is required for optimal service coverage.

Qualifications

Must be 21+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
Valid in-state driver's license and clean driving record.
Able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
Excellent attention to detail and customer service.
Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

Follow Rivian's high safety, cleanliness, and organization standards in all work areas.
Perform post-service detail inspections for quality control.
Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors per SOPs and products.
Use cleaners and clay bars to remove materials not responding to cleaning.
Apply compounds, polishes, waxes, and sealants to auto body and buff surfaces.
Perform color/wet sand, install ceramic coating, and paint touch-ups as needed.
Install and repair paint protection film.
Open/close work orders in Rivian's system and communicate updates.
Build relationships with customers through effective communication and service.
Track services, monitor vehicle charge levels and condition.
Maintain inventory of materials and supplies.
Move, park, and deliver vehicles.
Use PPE per SDS and EHS guidelines.
Operate buffers, polishers, steamers, hoses, vacuums safely.
Detail in mobile environments away from service centers.
