Crash Champions is seeking an experienced auto body technician to evaluate damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and execute high-quality repairs with precise attention to safety and efficiency. The role involves coordinating with team members to track repair status and ensure on-time delivery across our high-volume shop network.

The ideal candidate holds a body repair certification, I-CAR welding credentials, and strong knowledge of manufacturer repair processes, with the ability to supervise junior

Qualifications

• Ability to use frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates with others on vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, electrical and hydraulic components to access areas.
• Attends safety meetings as required.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces with power and hand tools.
• Directs an apprentice and explains procedures as needed.
