Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a skilled collision repair technician to inspect damaged vehicles and plan efficient repair processes. You will work with a team to communicate status and ensure on-time repairs, while performing quality work and guiding an apprentice when needed. Ideal candidates have frame machine experience, body repair certification, and knowledge of manufacturer repair processes.

I-CAR welding certification is preferred. Background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Certification in body repair preferred.
• I-CAR welding certification preferred.
• Must pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and efficiently plans repair process.
• Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind.
• Makes decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle and fenders.
• Directs the work of an apprentice in the performance of tasks when needed.
