Gerber Collision & Glass in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Auto Body Technician with 4–5 years of collision repair experience to deliver exceptional customer service through meticulous vehicle repairs, restoring cars to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence.

You will work with the WOW plan, plan repair work, prepare estimates, and ensure repairs meet labor guidelines.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Experience with auto body repair methods and safety procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers and pliers to repair sections.
• Hammer dents and apply fillers as needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and interiors.
• Weld and fit parts, then repaint vehicles to factory or approved finish.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished vehicles.
