Job summary

BerryDunn is seeking a high energy Audit Senior to join our Manufacturing, Technology, and Critical Infrastructure Practice Group. You will lead audits, reviews and compilations, managing engagements from planning through to completion while mentoring associates and interns.

You will work with clients to understand operations, identify improvements, and communicate recommendations. The role offers flexibility with remote options and minimal travel.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Accounting with 150 semester hours.
• 4+ years of progressive public accounting experience.
• CPA or willingness to obtain CPA with firm support.
• Strong analytical, technical and auditing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced, results-based team environment.
• Excellent organizational and client service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform client engagements from planning to completion, including audits, reviews, and compilations.
• Gain understanding of client operations and business objectives to apply on engagements.
• Research and analyze financial statements and audit issues with audit software.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and communication at all levels.
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements.
• Participate in planning, closing, and audit committee meetings as part of the team.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff on audit processes and assessments.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated on regulations.
• Develop industry knowledge to serve as a consultant and subject matter expert.
• Engage in knowledge sharing with clients and staff.
