BerryDunn is seeking an energetic Audit Senior to join our Manufacturing, Technology, and Critical Infrastructure Practice Group. You will lead audits, reviews and other services, reporting to the Manager/Senior Manager, with potential base in New England offices or remote.

The role emphasizes client relationship building, knowledge of industry operations, and mentoring staff. Minimal travel (<10%) is expected, with a base salary between $80,000 and $100,000 plus discretionary bonus potential.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Accounting and 150 semester hours of education.
• 4+ years of progressive public accounting experience.
• CPA or pursuing CPA with employer support.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills and knowledge of standards.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong organization, communication and client service skills.
• Desire to become an industry subject matter expert and business advisor.

Responsibilities

• Perform client engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, directing, and completing financial audits and managing to budget.
• Understand client operations, processes, and business objectives to apply on engagements.
• Research and analyze financial statements using audit software and databases to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and management to deliver audit services.
• Communicate recommendations for business and process improvements.
• Participate in planning, closing, and audit committee meetings as a key team member.
• Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on audit processes.
