Job summary

BerryDunn is seeking an experienced Senior Auditor to join our Financial Services Practice Group. You will lead audit, review, compilation, and related engagements for financial services clients while building strong client relationships and coaching professionals.

This role may be based in multiple locations or remotely, with minimal travel. You will develop an in-depth understanding of client operations, communicate recommendations, and contribute to practice growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting with 150 semester hours.
• CPA license or active progress toward CPA with BerryDunn support available.
• 3+ years of progressive public accounting audit experience.
• Strong analytical, technical accounting, and auditing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements with sound judgment and attention to detail.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and client service skills.
• Interest in coaching others and contributing to a team environment.
• Financial services industry experience is helpful but not required if you bring strong audit experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit, review, compilation, and related client engagements from planning through completion.
• Develop understanding of client operations, risks, and business goals and apply to each engagement.
• Research and analyze financial statements, audit matters, and technical topics.
• Build trusted relationships with client management and staff through high-quality service.
• Identify and communicate recommendations to strengthen processes and controls.
• Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns throughout the audit process.
• Support partners with proposals and business development conversations.
• Participate in recruiting and represent team with prospective candidates.
