Job summary

Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) seeks the Assistant Inspector General for Audits, Inspections & Evaluations (AI&E). The incumbent will lead complex analyses, supervise audit teams, and serve as a senior advisor to the IG and Deputy IG, coordinating with auditors, inspectors, attorneys, investigators, and analysts.

The role requires a strong background in auditing standards, leadership, and collaboration with stakeholders to advance audit programs and process improvements

Qualifications

• Degree in auditing or related field (business administration, finance, public administration or accounting).
• Combination of education and experience: at least 4 years of performance auditing experience or equivalent plus credentials.
• Possible certifications: CIA or CPA or degree with substantial auditing coursework.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise audits, provide direction and technical guidance to audit teams.
• Coordinate, direct, and evaluate the work of auditors.
• Ensure compliance with GAGAS/GAAS and related auditing standards.
• Present audit conclusions and defend results in meetings with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IG, Deputy IG, and external agencies on audit matters.
