Job summary

Office of Inspector General is seeking a Senior Auditor to perform performance audits, advisory services, and risk management. The role involves examining programmatic issues, reviewing internal controls, and preparing comprehensive audit reports for leadership.

The position requires DoD DCIPS context, security clearance readiness, and adherence to governing standards. Telework may be limited; full-time on-site work at the Fort Meade, MD area, with ongoing professional certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in auditing or related field (business admin, finance, public admin, accounting).
• 4+ years in performance auditing or equivalent.
• Certification: CIA or CPA or related auditing credential.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal audits to review systems, operations, finances and compliance.
• Develop and document risk-based audit programs and work papers.
• Present findings to management and obtain corrective actions.
