Job summary

Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) seeks a Deputy Inspector General for Investigations to lead investigations and inquiries, advise the IG and OIG staff, and drive analytical methodologies. The role demands senior oversight of investigators, collaboration with DoD and other agencies, and high-stakes decision-making to advance the OIG mission.

The incumbent will manage a diverse team, prepare reports, and deliver trainings while maintaining strict compliance and security

Qualifications

• Qualifying experience demonstrates competencies needed for investigations and enforcement.
• Experience supervising, planning, and directing inquiries and investigations.
• Ability to interpret policies and coordinate with internal and external entities.

Responsibilities

• Provide policy guidance and professional insight in investigations and inquiries.
• Oversee staff including senior investigators and analysts; manage workload and efficiency.
• Conduct independent investigations or lead groups on complex inquiries or reviews.
• Collaborate with DoD and external agencies for coordination and success of investigations.
• Prepare reports, briefs, trainings, and case summaries for leadership.
