Job summary

AIG's Internal Audit Group is seeking a Director Internal Audit – Data and AI to provide independent assurance over Data Office, AI, and infrastructure. You will lead a global team, shape audit strategy, and ensure audits comply with IIA standards while advancing data and AI controls.

You will partner with senior management, drive improvements, and oversee evolving technologies in a fast-paced environment. Competitive US benefits and base salary are offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of assurance experience in financial services, data governance and risk management.
• 2+ years auditing AI and emerging technologies.
• Bachelor’s in data science, CS, engineering or related field; postgraduate preferred.
• Industry certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Define audit strategy for data governance, AI risk, and emerging technology globally.
• Lead execution of audits and monitor regulatory developments and best practices.
• Build and coach a high-performing global audit team with data/AI skills.
• Engage senior stakeholders to drive process improvements and risk mitigation.
• Promote adoption of data analytics, AI, and automation in audits.
