Job summary

Happen Bank seeks a Sr Auditor to join an in-house audit function in a fast-paced, regulated financial environment. You will execute end-to-end audits, assess risks and controls, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, risk-based insights.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Internal Audit or related experience; bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; or equivalent work experience
• Strong judgment for risk assessment, testing controls and conclusions
• Clear, confident communication tailored to audiences
• Ability to collaborate across teams while maintaining independence
• Organized, able to manage multiple audits or assignments in parallel
• Adaptable to ambiguity and change
• Active use of AI tools embedded in the audit lifecycle to improve efficiency
• Leverage tools for audit execution, documentation, and learning to accelerate drafting
• Balance speed with accuracy, compliance, and data sensitivity

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end audits across business and technology areas from scoping to reporting
• Identify key risks and evaluate control design and effectiveness in a regulated financial environment
• Partner cross-functionally to understand processes, challenge assumptions, and drive better risk outcomes
• Translate audit findings into clear, actionable insights with practical mitigation strategies
• Use data analytics and AI-enabled approaches to improve testing coverage, efficiency, and insight quality
• Monitor and validate remediation efforts, ensuring issues are resolved sustainably
• Build deep understanding of products, systems, and emerging risks to strengthen audit impact
• Identify opportunities to improve audit workflows, tools, and methodologies
