Job summary

LendingClub is seeking a Senior Auditor to thrive in a fast-paced financial services setting. You will lead end-to-end audits, assess risks, and collaborate across teams to drive sustainable remediation and enhanced risk management.

You will leverage data analytics and AI-enabled approaches to improve testing coverage, strengthen controls, and deliver clear, actionable insights. Hybrid work in San Francisco or Lehi, with relocation support based on level.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Internal Audit or related experience, and bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent work experience
• Ownership of work and follow-through in a fast-moving environment
• Strong judgment when assessing risks, testing controls, and making conclusions
• Clear and confident communication tailored to different audiences
• Collaboration across teams while maintaining independence
• Organizational skills to handle multiple audits or assignments
• Adaptability and comfort navigating ambiguity and change
• Active use of AI tools embedded in the audit lifecycle to improve efficiency, consistency, and insight generation
• Tools that support audit execution, documentation, and learning to accelerate drafting and risk-based judgment
• Sound judgment when applying new tools balancing speed, accuracy, compliance, and data sensitivity

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end audits across business and technology areas
• Identify key risks and evaluate control design and effectiveness
• Partner cross-functionally to understand processes and drive risk outcomes
• Translate audit findings into actionable insights with mitigation strategies
• Use data analytics and AI-enabled approaches to improve testing coverage and efficiency
• Monitor and validate remediation efforts to ensure sustainability
• Build deep understanding of products, systems and emerging risks
• Identify opportunities to improve audit workflows, tools and methodologies
