Job summary

ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Auditor to lead planning and execution of global and regional audits, spanning IT general controls, application controls and business processes. This remote role reports to the Director of Internal Audit Management and focuses on building AI-enabled tools to transform audit methods.

You will design AI workflows, apply data analytics, draft high-quality reports, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve controls while expanding audit coverage using ServiceNow IRM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-year degree (US equivalent) from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years’ work experience, with 3 years at a public accounting firm (Big 4 or national firm preferred).
• Experience auditing IT general controls and application controls, and business processes.
• Understanding of data governance and privacy compliance, with system-architecture perspective.
• Familiarity with AI governance and GenAI model risk considerations.
• Builder track record: built tools/automation/AI workflows solving real problems.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot).
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI; SAP experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and scoping of audits across business and IT operations.
• Conduct walkthroughs and tests of controls; document work papers.
• Identify manual steps and build AI-enabled automations for evidence gathering and drafting.
• Use data analytics to test populations, identify control gaps, and quantify risk.
• Document and share reusable tools; help shape IA's AI playbook.
• Draft audit issues and conclusions for high-quality reports; consider costs and stakeholder feedback.
• Communicate audit status and issues with leads; track actions for committees.
• Participate in major initiatives and advise on risks and controls.
• Evolve audit methodology and automation to scale coverage with IRM.
• Engage stakeholders and represent Internal Audit professionally.
