Job summary

ServiceNow is seeking an experienced Senior Auditor to lead planning and execution of global or regional audits spanning IT general controls, application controls, and business processes. This remote role reports to the Director of Internal Audit Management and involves designing AI-enabled tools to automate audit steps and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-year degree (US equivalent) from an accredited university; MIS/Finance/Accounting preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ work experience, with 3 years at a public accounting firm (Big 4 preferred).
• Demonstrated experience auditing IT general controls and application controls.
• Understanding of data governance and privacy compliance; AI governance awareness.
• Builder track record: created tools/automation/AI workflow to solve real problems.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI tools beyond basic chat.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; ability to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and scoping of operational and integrated audits across business and IT operations; complete assignments efficiently and timely.
• Conduct walkthroughs, evaluate process design, and perform controls testing across business processes and IT systems.
• Identify manual or repetitive audit steps and build AI-enabled solutions to automate them.
• Use data analytics and AI to test full populations, identify control gaps, and deliver insights.
• Document and share reusable artifacts to build Internal Audit AI playbooks.
• Assist in producing high-quality audit reports with clear conclusions and actionable improvements.
• Timely communication with audit leads on status, escalations, and reporting.
• Perform action tracking for Audit Committee reporting.
• Participate in major business initiatives and advise on risks and controls.
• Contribute to evolution of Internal Audit methodology, automation, and reporting.
