Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an experienced Audit & Cost Accounting professional to support a manufacturing/aerospace environment. This indefinite temporary role may become permanent, with responsibilities spanning audit support, inventory reconciliations, and cost/financial analysis.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on inventory accounting, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, with decentralization to year-end audit support and manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Audit & Cost Accounting professional to provide immediate support within a manufacturing/aerospace environment. This is an indefinite temporary opportunity expected to continue through the completion of key audit support activities, with potential for the role to become permanent.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of audit and cost accounting experience, along with hands-on exposure to inventory accounting and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide audit support for year-end and other financial audit activities
• Perform inventory reconciliations and support inventory audit procedures
• Assist with cost accounting, costing analysis, and manufacturing-related financial analysis
• Perform account reconciliations and balance sheet analysis
• Research and resolve discrepancies between financial and operational records
