Job summary

LMI Government Consulting in Alexandria, Virginia, seeks a Senior Audit Readiness SME to ensure compliance and robust asset management for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Sustainment. The role focuses on linking DoW FIAR standards with end-to-end asset, logistics, and financial reporting.

The candidate will guide on-site personnel, define target states, and collaborate with DoW stakeholders to enable secure, auditable processes for F-35 asset visibility and accountability.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or similar field.
• Minimum of ten years of audit readiness or asset management experience for DoW.
• Experience with asset valuation and internal control design for DoW FIAR.

Responsibilities

• Supervise onsite personnel with DoW audit readiness and asset management expertise.
• Provide analysis to define target state and feasible integration of asset, logistics, and financial data.
• Integrate asset, logistics, and financial data sources for comprehensive reporting and standardized processes.
• Communicate progress, risks, and issues to OASW(Sustainment) leadership.
