Job summary

LMI seeks a Senior Audit Readiness Subject Matter Expert to support OASW(Sustainment) in ensuring compliance and governance for DoW asset and financial management. The role focuses on audit readiness, asset data integration, and end-to-end reporting across DAF/DoN/DLA interfaces.

The ideal candidate has a secret clearance, 10+ years of DoW audit/asset experience, and strong MS Office skills. A bachelor’s degree is required, with a master’s desired.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or similar business-related field.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience performing audit readiness or asset management for the DoW.
• Experience developing and executing holistic audit readiness strategies.
• Knowledge of asset valuation and internal control design for large programs.
• Familiarity with DoW FIAR guidelines and approved APSR such as DPAS.
• Strong MS Office skills and excellent written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise onsite personnel with DoW audit readiness and asset management expertise.
• Provide audit readiness and asset management analysis for target state and data reporting.
• Integrate asset, logistics, and financial data sources for comprehensive reporting.
• Support standardized processes for asset accountability and supply chain operations.
• Assess DoW asset management systems and data interfaces for end-to-end reporting.
• Communicate progress, risks, and issues to OASW(Sustainment) leadership.
