Job summary

Truist Senior Audit Manager is responsible for providing a leadership role in the delivery of value-added independent and objective risk-based internal audit assurance and advisory services. The Senior Audit Manager develops specialization in financial services and assists in line of business relationship management and risk monitoring.

The position calls for eight to ten years of audit experience, advanced knowledge of risk management, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related field.
• Eight to ten years of experience in audit.
• Advanced knowledge in banking and financial services.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• CPA/CISA/CIA or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and development of audit test plans for large projects.
• Set quality expectations per Truist standards and evaluate processes.
• Develop audit reports aligned with the risk appetite framework.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to the team.
• Support annual planning and risk assessment processes.
