Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting’s client in north central Phoenix is seeking a Senior Audit Manager to lead client engagements and staff across Manufacturing/Retail/Distribution, Restaurants, Construction, Real Estate, and Estate/Gift areas. The position features a hybrid schedule and a base salary up to $140,000 DOE.

The ideal candidate holds an active CPA, has 5+ years of public accounting experience, and demonstrates strong GAAP/GAAS knowledge with proficiency in preparing financial statements and tax

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA certification is required/active.
• 5+ years public accounting experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Experience preparing financial statements and income tax returns.
• Good understanding of GAAP and GAAS.
• Some knowledge of GAGAS / Yellow Book.
• Experience with financial statement compilations, audits and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Perform field work of audits, reviews and compilations.
• Prepare financial statements with full disclosures.
• Plan, supervise and complete routine engagements.
• Supervise other accountants of varying levels.
• Review work performed by other accountants.
• Develop new client relationships and strengthen existing ones.
• Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to clients.
• Assist in firm administrative functions as needed.
