Job summary

SourcePro Search, LLC is assisting a north central Phoenix CPA and business advisory firm in finding a Senior Audit Manager. The role will manage clients and staff across Manufacturing/Retail/Distribution, Restaurants, Construction, Real Estate, and Personal/Estates.

The position offers a hybrid schedule and base salary up to $140,000 DOE. Key duties include overseeing audits, reviews, and compilations, preparing financial statements, supervising staff, and nurturing client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years public accounting experience
• Active CPA
• Self-motivated
• Team oriented with excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns
• High understanding of GAAP and special purpose frameworks
• High understanding of GAAS
• At least a limited understanding of GAGAS / Yellow Book
• Experience in financial statement compilation – both with and without notes
• Experience with financial statement audits and reviews

Responsibilities

• Perform field work of audits, reviews and compilations
• Prepare financial statements with full disclosures
• Plan, supervise and complete routine engagements
• Supervise other accountants of varying levels of proficiency and experience
• Review work performed by other accountants
• Develop new client relationships and strengthen existing ones
• Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to clients
• Assist in firm administrative functions as needed
