Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Audit Manager for a north central Phoenix CPA and business advisory firm. You will manage clients and staff across Manufacturing/Retail/Distribution, Restaurants, Construction, Real Estate, and Estate planning.

This role offers a hybrid schedule with a base salary up to $140,000 DOE. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA, and 5+ years of public accounting experience, with strong GAAP/GAAS knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 5+ years public accounting experience.
• Active CPA.
• Self-motivated and a team player.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Preparation of financial statements and tax returns.
• Good understanding of GAAP and GAAS.
• Familiarity with GAGAS/Yellow Book.
• Experience with financial statement compilation and audits/reviews.

Responsibilities

• Perform field work of audits, reviews and compilations
• Prepare financial statements with full disclosures
• Plan, supervise and complete routine engagements
• Supervise other accountants (of varying levels of proficiency and experience)
• Review work performed by other accountants
• Develop new client relationships, and strengthen existing relationships
• Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to clients
• Assist in firm administrative functions as needed
