Job summary

The role combines client leadership with technical oversight and performance reviews to ensure quality and compliance. Based in Marlton, NJ, the position follows CBIZ's hybrid model requiring in-person work at least three days per week, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in public accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Active CPA or equivalent certification required.
• Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements and deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication across organization levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple engagement teams to complete audits for public and private companies.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert within the business unit and share knowledge.
• Recommend improvements to internal department procedures.
• Identify client issues, communicate options, and manage management expectations.
• Lead staff reviews to ensure quality control and compliance.
• Develop new client relationships and participate in meetings and proposal development.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff; conduct performance feedback.
• Foster a collaborative, positive team environment; support management decisions.
