The ideal candidate will have a CPA, 5 years in public accounting, 3 years supervisory experience, and proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Travel may be required based on client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5 years of experience in public accounting or related field.
• 3 years supervisory experience.
• Active CPA or equivalent certification.
• Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements.
• Strong verbal and written communication across all levels.
• Willingness to travel based on client/business needs.
• Proficient use of applicable technology.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing audits of governmental entities including state and local financial statement audits, single audits, and other compliance audits.
• Serve as client’s trusted advisor, identify issues and communicate solution options to client and team.
• Manage staff on engagement deliverables and perform final reviews to ensure quality control.
• Ensure on-time delivery and adherence to budget for engagements.
• Develop engagement budgets and monitor billing/realization.
