Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Audit Manager to lead audit engagements, assess risk, and evaluate internal controls. You will review financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAS and company policies while guiding a team. The role emphasizes collaboration across departments and staying current with regulatory changes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in public accounting audits, CPA or CIA preferred, and strong analytical and communication skills to present findings to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on audits.
• CPA or CIA certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in managing and directing a team.
• Proficient in GAAS, risk assessment, engagement, auditing, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of operational procedures and financial statements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the planning and execution of audit engagements in GAAS compliance.
• Perform risk assessments on key business activities to develop an annual audit plan.
• Review financial statements and records for compliance with controls and policies.
• Provide assurance on internal controls and risk management procedures.
• Prepare and present audit findings to senior management with recommendations.
• Develop and implement tools to analyze data to improve audit efficiency and value.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes.
• Maintain knowledge of changes in financial regulations affecting operations.
