Job summary

Jobot is seeking an ambitious Audit Manager to join a high-growth regional firm in a hybrid role (mostly onsite). You will manage engagements, teams, and client relationships to deliver clean audits and ensure regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a CPA, 5+ years in public accounting, real estate experience preferred, and strong communication skills. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations.
• Familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic audit planning.
• Manage agency relationships involving audit matters, including the IRS and other regulatory bodies.
• Review tax accruals and reconciliations, and ensure the accurate input of data into the company's financial system.
• Advise management about the impact of audit and tax liabilities and corporate strategies.
• Supervise and mentor junior members of the audit team.
• Stay abreast of current developments in the tax area and provide tax updates to management.
