Job summary

JOBot is seeking an Audit Manager to join our accounting and finance team. You will lead audits, assess risk, and ensure compliance with GAAS and internal controls, delivering value to internal customers.

The role requires 5+ years in public accounting, CPA or CIA preferred, and strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. This is a full-time position offering a flexible, supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting with a focus on audits.
• CPA or CIA certification preferred.
• Proven experience in managing and directing a team.
• Proficient in GAAS, risk assessment, engagement, auditing, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and operating procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects and delegate effectively.
• High accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage planning and execution of audit engagements in accordance with GAAS and regulatory requirements.
• Perform risk assessments on key business activities and develop an annual audit plan.
• Review financial statements, records, and documents for compliance with controls and policies.
• Provide assurance on internal controls and risk management procedures.
• Present audit findings to senior management with recommendations for improvements.
• Develop tools to analyze data and improve audit efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes.
• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations that affect operations.
