Current is seeking a Senior Manager, Audit to lead multiple engagements from planning through issuance in the Springfield, MO area. You will deliver exceptional client service and coach high-performing teams.
Responsibilities include providing technical leadership on complex accounting matters, overseeing engagement quality, budgets, and timelines, and driving practice growth through recruiting and training initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 7+ years of audit experience in public accounting (or equivalent assurance experience).
- CPA license required.
- Experience leading engagements and supervising teams.
- Industry experience a plus.
- Contribute to practice growth, recruiting, or training initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple audit engagements from planning to issuance.
- Provide technical leadership on complex accounting issues and oversee quality.
- Coach engagement teams with regular feedback and development.
- Manage client relationships at the engagement level and set expectations.
- Oversee engagement budgets, timelines, and profitability.
- Support practice development and recruiting initiatives.
- Stay current on auditing standards and implement best practices.
